Lead Data Scientist

What you will do

  • Execute complex data analysis to support leadership decision making in a variety of subject matter areas, including: clinical quality measures, enrollment and utilization, and patient satisfactions.
  • Responsible for collection, extraction, maintenance and analysis of data.
  • Provide analysis and reporting capabilities for the decision support and strategic planning functions.
  • Support data analysis and reporting to ensure that data, analysis, and reporting is done in a timely and effective manner.
  • Perform analytical and clinical report builds.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and deliver reporting needs.
  • Assist with presentation of data required for initiatives as needed. Utilize Project Management skills to track and manage PI project life cycles.
  • Project plans to include scope, schedule, cost, anticipated outcomes, risk and issue management, and change management.
  • Oversee the successful delivery PI and clinical reporting initiatives, including project design, implementation planning, risk/issue management, benchmarking, and analytics to optimally integrate PI efforts.
  • Utilize technical skills to extract the necessary data to meet strategy and/or expressed analytical or data needs that support operational and clinical decision making.
  • Utilize technical skills to assess extracted data for quality and integrity.
  • Analyze and report on extracted data, to provide information that will support decision making. Support databases and software systems.
  • Work strategically with leadership, directors, operations, site teams to lead the analysis and documentation of process work flows, business requirements for systems and process design/re-engineering initiatives.
  • Design and implement dashboard and/or utilize analytical tools to assist in monitoring staff adherence to workflow protocols.
  • Utilize data to inform the Plan, Do, Sustain, Act (PDSA) cycles and ongoing improvement.

Education Qualifications

  • Master Degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering or related major.

Experience Qualifications

  • Six (6) months in the job offered, Clinical Data Analyst, or related occupation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Clinical Data Model (2021 Version) and Clarity Data Model (2021 Version) accreditation.
