A Brief Overview
Administratively support the Pastoral Care Department Serves as the Coordinator of the Pastoral Care Department by initiating and completing various administrative and clerical activities as well as provides support and direction in the day to day activities and special projects of the department.

What you will do

  • Oversees all clerical functions of the Pastoral Care Department and orders supplies
  • Maintains patient’s cards and files
  • Manages the implementations and follow through of all special projects of the Pastoral Care Department as requested
  • Assures that schedule for Eucharistic Ministers are completed
  • Assists the Director of Pastoral Care in making the monthly schedule for the chaplains
  • Assists with payment requisitions, accounting and budget planning for the department
  • Oversees the daily work flow of the Pastoral Care Department
  • Assess the volume of referrals each day and assign/reassigns accordingly
  • Maintains accurate patient information concerning admissions, continued stay and discharge
  • Coordinates the annual employee and community outreach programs
  • Assists Director of Pastoral Care with projects as needed
  • Performs all other duties as assigned



Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience  Required


Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years Previous clerical experience Preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication and organizational skills (High proficiency)
  • Ability to be discrete and appreciate the confidential nature of the patient information involved (Medium proficiency)
  • Google Suite skills (Medium proficiency)
