A Brief Overview

The Contract Administrator/Paralegal will be responsible for organizing and implementing a comprehensive contract management system. This role includes the implementation and maintenance of the ContractWorks contract management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, expertise in contract administration, and experience with contract management software.


What you will do

  • 1. Contract Management System Implementation:
  • Lead the implementation of a contract management system.
  • Develop and document procedures for contract management processes.
  • Ensure the system is user-friendly and meets the needs of the organization.
  • 2. System Organization and Maintenance:
  • * Organize and maintain electronic and physical contract records.
  • * Ensure all contract documents are properly stored and easily retrievable.
  • * Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • 3. Training and Support:
  • * Provide training to staff on the use of the contract management system.
  • * Serve as the primary point of contact for system-related inquiries and support.
  • * Develop training materials and user guides for the system.
  • 4. Compliance and Risk Management:
  • * Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • * Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
  • * Advise management on contract risks and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
  • 5. Reporting and Documentation:
  • * Prepare and present reports on contract status, compliance, and issues.
  • * Document all contract-related activities and decisions.
  • * Track key dates, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field required


Experience Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in contract administration or a related legal field. required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Paralegal upon hire preferred
