A Brief Overview

Responsible for overall management of office site, including facility and equipment maintenance, day-to-day supervision of designated personnel, and payroll preparation. Facility liaison with all other locations, administration, vendors and third parties.


What you will do

  • Assists with interviews, hires, evaluates, and disciplines direct reporting staff.
  • Handles all patient and visitors concerns and assures timely resolution.
  • Supervises the daily cash collection and time of visit payments.
  • Develops daily operating policies, protocols, procedures for site; trains staff and implements policies. Monitors compliance, coaches and cousels staff and re-trains as necessary.
  • Provides day-to-day supervision for all staff working at facility.
  • Allocates work among staff and assures that work is completed within appropriate time frames.
  • Prioritizes tasks and keeps staff informed of priorities.
  • Orders supplies for facility.
  • Timely submission of all pre certification requests.
  • Monitors performance against budget and takes corrective action as indicated.
  • Prepares payroll for facility staff and prepares weekly work schedule for all facility staff.
  • Acts as liaison for facility and staff with all other parties.
  • Assures that facility is well maintained and that all equipment is maintained and serviced appropriately in accordance with regulatory requirements, etc.


Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience Required and
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a Health care related field Preferred


Experience Qualifications

  • Experience in word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, Lotus and Excel) Preferred and
  • 1-3 years Three years supervisory experience in a medical office setting Preferred and
  • Previous Office Manager experience Preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to work well with patients, physicians and staff, ability to follow established office routines and policies.
