Our hospital has a very robust insurance package for benefit-eligible employees. It includes five tiers of medical coverage. Each tier has applicable deductibles and copays. Holy Name also offers a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) to all employees. The HRA is a benefit that supplements your medical insurance through our employer-sponsored group plan, when a covered member seeks eligible medical services at Holy Name Medical Center.
Prescription benefits are available for benefit-eligible employees through our in-house pharmacy and participating pharmacies.
Holy Name offers dental insurance through Delta Dental for benefit-eligible employees.
Benefit-eligible employees have the option to enroll in a vision care plan offered through VSP, which includes routine eye exams and discounted materials.
Our 401(k) program is available to benefit-eligible employees. Holy Name matches a portion of your contribution after one year of service. We also offer a 403(b) program for non benefit-eligible employees.
Holy Name pays 100% of the premium cost for this program, which offers term life coverage for benefit-eligible employees. In addition, benefit-eligible employees have the option to purchase additional supplemental term life coverage and/or dependent term life coverage.
PTO is offered to benefit-eligible employees. The PTO policy consists of two banks of time:
Full-time and part-time employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week will accrue PTO. Part-time benefit-eligible employees accrue PTO on a prorated basis, depending on their scheduled hours. PTO is based on position and length of service and may be taken after completion of three months of employment.
The purpose of the Long Term Illness bank (LTI) is to provide benefit-eligible employees with continuation of salary while they are out on an approved Medical Leave of Absence for their own medical condition. LTI is available to benefit-eligible employees upon completion of one year of service.
Full-time and part-time employees are eligible for the following scheduled holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. All employees who work these days receive holiday pay.
Employees may elect to contribute to a flexible spending account where they can reduce their taxable income while paying for necessary health care and/or dependent care expenses with tax-free dollars.
Upon completion of three months of service, benefit-eligible employees may apply for tuition reimbursement. For eligible full-time employees, the maximum reimbursement for the academic year (Fall-Summer) is $5,000; for part-time employees, $2,500 is the maximum yearly reimbursement.
Loan assistance of up to $5,000 per year is offered to benefit-eligible employees who are not receiving Tuition Reimbursement. Assistance amounts and eligibility are based on years of service.
